ABOUT

PacificJust is a regional justice cooperation network modelled on the Genocide Prosecution Network hosted by Eurojust in The Hague. Established to strengthen accountability across the Pacific Rim, PacificJust serves as the sister network to the Genocide Prosecution Network, adapting its proven peer-to-peer cooperation model to the specific legal, geographic and institutional context of Pacific Rim countries. Its purpose is to enhance the capacity of national authorities to investigate and prosecute war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide in accordance with international criminal law standards.

Like its sister network, PacificJust provides a structured platform for prosecutors, investigators and policymakers to exchange expertise, share operational experience and coordinate on complex atrocity crime matters. Through targeted training, technical assistance and confidential practitioner forums, the network supports domestic incorporation of international crimes, strengthens investigative methodologies, and promotes regional cooperation mechanisms. By anchoring its approach in the Eurojust model while tailoring it to Pacific Rim realities, PacificJust contributes to sustainable accountability, deterrence and rule-of-law resilience across the region.
